Violence has been around since time immemorial and will always be with us. The words of Jesus and the prophets - Old and New Testaments - however, foretold the days in which we are now living! Anyone familiar with history and eschatology (study of last things) understands that there has been a dramatic increase in the proliferation and level of sophistication of terrorism!

The recent most horrific hijacking of four US airplanes - by Arab Islamic terrorists - and their destruction, together with thousands of people and billions of dollars worth of real estate in New York and Washington, was the most daring, ruthless and devastating in the history of America! Any discerning person knows that even though violence is as old as the hills, it has taken a quantum leap forward recently, due to increased Middle Eastern Islamic fanaticism and nationalistic fervor, and almost instant communication and money transfers!

Yossi Klein Halevi, columnist for the left leaning Jerusalem Report, wrote the following piece for Canadian newspapers recently: "A new hit song on Egyptian radio stations proclaims, "I hate Israel." State controlled newspapers vie with each other to spread the most astonishing lies, including the medieval notion that Jews use the blood of murdered Gentile children for matzo the theme of a popular book written by Syrian Defense Minister Mustafa Talas that is about to be turned into an Egyptian film that is touted as the Arab response to Schindler's List.   

"The Arab world has become obsessed with the holocaust, and two camps have emerged. One camp, which includes the government-controlled newspapers of Syria, Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority, argues that the Holocaust never happened.

"The other, which includes at least one government newspaper in Egypt, acknowledges that the Holocaust did happen and is grateful to Hitler for implementing it. Indeed, nowhere except in the Arab world is both Holocaust denial and admiration for the Final Solution as mainstream, including among intellectuals.

"Ahmad Ragab, in his daily column in the Egyptian government sponsored newspaper, Al Akhbar, April 20 wrote:  'Thanks to Hitler, of blessed memory, who, on behalf of the Palestinians, revenged in advance against the most vile criminals on the face of the earth. Although, we do have a complaint against him for his revenge on them, was not enough'. Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi recently accused Israel and the CIA of infecting Libyan children with AIDS.Emboldened by the unrestrained Jew-hatred, Saddam Hussein ended his speech at the recent Arab summit in Amman, Jordan with the prayer: God damn the Jews."

The oil bonanza of the past three decades has done little to help the masses of poor and disadvantaged citizens of Islamic countries. While many religious imams and mullahs run rough - shod over the people and treat women like chattel, the high rolling Arab leaders blame all their troubles on Israel - 'the perpetual whipping boy of choice for all Arabs'!

     Instead of using the billions of dollars given to him by Western countries to lift Palestinians out of their misery, the treacherous Yasser Arafat has purposely kept them seething in their filth and squalor, which promotes hate in the refugee camps and boys throwing stones at Israeli soldiers! Recently, hackers have uncovered billions of dollars of assets and properties owned by Arafat - still a terrorist - and his cronies, across Europe! Even the gullible Norwegian media are now writing about "Arafat's long pockets" and the money trail!

    In a revealing Times of London article titled,  $4.5B in foreign aid to Palestinians revives concerns about corruption, Christopher Walker unveils the "corruption already endemic in Yasser Arafat's fledgling state."

      For a number of years, I have read in Norwegian Lutheran newspapers of the hate-filled textbooks used against Jews in Palestinian schools. The Canadian Press has finally blown the whistle on the Canadian Government's alleged complicity and cover-up of our involvement in this nefarious and evil work!

      "According to 58 new textbooks and two teacher's guides for grades 1,2,3,6,7 and 11, published in the past two years by the Palestinian Authority, Israel does not exist - nor does the concept of peace, a U.S study has found.  Children are encouraged from the earliest school age to hate Israelis, glorify "martyrs" and seek the "liberation" of all of Palestine, including Israel.

      "The analysis of the textbooks, published this week, was carried out by the New York-based Center for Monitoring Impact of Peace, a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging tolerance and mutual respect between peoples and nations.

    "The PA curriculum does not teach the acceptance of Israel's existence and instead of working to erase hateful stereotypes, it is instilling them into the next generation's consciousness," says Yohanan Manor. "Every map in every subject - from grade 2 math to grade 7 geography - marks the West bank and Gaza as Palestine and fails to show any modern Israeli cities such as Tel-Aviv or Hadera. 

      "The new textbooks are being used throughout the Palestinian-controlled areas in the West bank and Gaza in some 1300 schools administered by the Palestinian Authority and 261 run by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.

      "Since 1993, Canada has contributed $165 million in direct aid to Palestinian development programs, including education, plus $10 million annually to the U.N."

Osama bin Laden and his evil al-Qaeda network of terrorists carry out hate-filled attacks against Israel, USA, Christians and Jews, and have trained thousands of Islamic warriors in suicide bombings, hijackings, biological and chemical warfare. There are ten thousand 'madrassas' (Islamic schools) in Pakistan alone, with thousands more in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Libya and Afghanistan, teaching the same vitriolic hate to young impressionable boys!

    The Times of London (Nov.20, 2001) reports: 'SPAIN LINKS BIN LADEN TO 9/11 - "Transcripts of coded telephone calls to a Muslim cleric living in Madrid have provided the first, chilling proof of Osama bin Laden's hand in the Sept. 11 attacks, Spanish police say.

   "Investigators say the bugged phone calls from Spain are a significant breakthrough in helping them piece together how al-Qaeda's cells across Europe are linked.

    "Sixteen days before the hijackings in the United States, an al-Qaeda agent telephoned the cleric known as Abu Dahdah in Madrid, boasting about the plot. The agent, who only calls himself "Shakur", talks about how "in our lessons, we entered the field of aviation and we cut the bird's throat."

    And on Nov. 21, 2001, President George W. Bush pledged to help the Philippines in their fight against Islamic terrorists! The Chicago Tribune reports: "The front against terrorism is not just in Afghanistan," Bush said. "We're going to fight terror wherever it exists. We will work with our allies and friends to use whatever resources we have to win the war against terror."

    President Gloria Arroya of the Philippines - on a visit to the White House - stated that there is evidence of a connection between al-Qaeda and the Abu Sayyaf up to 1995. That Muslim extremist group in the Philippines was implicated, together with al-Qaeda in the 1993 attack on the World trade Center, she said!

    Time Magazine (November 8, 2001) states: "His aims are clear - to expel the US from the Islamic world and unite Muslims in one empire." In an editorial carried by the London Telegraph recently, titled 'Why the new terrorism threatens all humanity', John Keegan writes: "Are there no limits to terrorism? The British Prime Minister.raised the prospect not only of more terrorist outrages, but also of worse.

    "He emphasized the effort that is being devoted to identifying the source of biological attacks on the public. He warned, however, that the al-Qaeda organization is certainly anxious to acquire nuclear materials and will have no hesitation in causing nuclear explosions for terrorist purposes when it learns how.

Mr. Blair spoke of "certain knowledge that if they (the Sept 11 terrorists) could have killed 60,000 or 600,000, that is what they would have done. Osama bin Laden.speaks of "killing all Americans" and "destroying the United States". The next step he forecast, "will be trying to acquire weapons of mass destruction."

OSAMA BIN LADEN CLAIMS TO HAVE NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

    According to the Los Angeles Times, Pakistani journalist, Hamid Mir, claims that Osama bin Laden told him on Nov. 9, 2001: "We have chemical and nuclear weapons". And two days later, he confessed his guilt on a video taped message to his al-Qaeda operatives: "If avenging the killing of our people is terrorism then history should be a witness that we are terrorists. Yes, we kill their innocents and this is legal religiously and logically."

WHEN ALLAH DICTATES THE LAW

    In a recent Globe and Mail column titled, 'WHEN ALLAH DICTATES THE LAW', William Johnson wrote: "Allah is great. No problem. But must the Prophet Mohammed, in the name of Allah, dictate the constitution of contemporary states? The question might seem abstract to the West. But it poses a dangerous challenge to virtually every country with a Muslim majority. It is literally a matter of right and wrong, good and evil, life and death. The Koran takes it very seriously.

     "The appropriate penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and run about in the land creating disorder is that they be slain or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on alternate sides, or they be expelled from the land.and in the Hereafter they shall have a great punishment." (Chapter 5, Verses 34-35)

The Los Angeles Times (Nov.20, 2001) reported: "Europe not ruling out attack by 'sleeper terrorists'. There are indications that "two or three" major plots were set in motion before the hijack attacks in the United States and could be well under way."

 'The Times of London' warns: 'A hand picked team of 14 young Muslims who were trained to fly Boeing jets in secret at an airbase in Afghanistan are believed to be hiding in Europe and the United States using fake passports and identities.

    "Seven of the team are known to speak fluent English and left Afghanistan more than a year ago with enough flying skill to stage further suicide attacks. Security services worldwide, already overwhelmed by the hunt for "sleepers" that Osama bin Laden has in place, have been told to track down the 14 men.

   "They were trained by a senior pilot working for Ariana, the Afghan state-owned airline, who revealed how the Taliban administration ordered him and four other captains to teach the 14-strong group to handle large commercial jets. The captain, known only as Rasul Parvaz, said he did not know what became of his students after they were smuggled out of Afghanistan.

    "What has disturbed the FBI is Parvaz's description of the men as polite, well-mannered and educated but who were "dedicated Muslim fanatics" who kept telling him that they believed they were a part of a holy war. An FBI source said Sunday: 'We need to find these men for they were obviously not trained to fly holiday-makers around.'

    "British authorities knew nothing about a 27-year-old Algerian, Lofti Raissi, who lived in southern England, who for most of the past year has been visiting a number of flying schools in the U.S., allegedly to show the four pilots of the hijacked jets how to steer passenger planes into their designated targets. Raissi.first came to Great Britain eight years ago allegedly using false identity documents. He then allegedly stole the identity of a 74-year-old grandmother from New Jersey, Dorothy Hansen, and used her social security number to obtain licenses in the U.S. The FBI are further embarrassed that Hansen's grandniece was among the victims killed in the World Trade Center on Sept. 11.

   "Zacarias Moussaoui, another formerly British - based pilot who lived as a student in south London for five years, is still refusing to co-operate with FBI investigators who arrested him while he was training to join the suicide mission as the 20th hijacker.

    "The 33-year-old French-Moroccan who was supposedly studying international trade is thought to have sheltered other bin laden agents at his Brixton apartment. German investigators say they intercepted a phone call from Moussaoui to an apartment used by Mohammed Atta, the leader of the Sept. 11 attacks.

    "The focus is now on the 14 missing pilots from Afghanistan. The students who either fought with Taliban or had fathers with close links to the regime, Parvaz said, and were from a number of countries in the Middle East, Pakistan and Afghanistan.  

    The Times of London (NOV. 20, 2001): 'NOTES REVEAL AL-QAEDA'S NUCLEAR GOAL' -  "Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda network held detailed plans for nuclear devices and other terrorist bombs in one of its Kabul headquarters. The Times discovered the partly burned documents in a hastily abandoned safe house in the Karta Parvan quarter of the city. Written in Arabic, German, Urdu and English, the notes give detailed designs for missiles, bombs and nuclear weapons. There are descriptions of how the detonation of TNT compresses plutonium into a critical mass, sparking a chain reaction, and ultimately a thermonuclear reaction.

      "The discovery of the detailed bomb making instructions, along with studies into chemical and nuclear devices, confirms the West's worst fears and raises the spectre of plans for an attack that would far exceed the Sept. 11 atrocities in scale and gravity. Nuclear experts say the design suggests that bin Laden may be working on a fusion device, similar to Fat Man, the bomb dropped on Nagasaki.  Osama bin laden has stated that it is his "religious duty" to obtain a nuclear bomb!

      And a recent Canadian Press states: CSIS report warns of high-tech 'weapons of mass corruption' CYBER WAR the next threat from rogue 'info operation'. "A country such as China could be capable of mounting a crippling cyber-attack on a foreign adversary within a decade, says Canada's intelligence agency. They warned the spread of digital "weapons of mass corruption" might have devastating consequences for a world increasingly hooked on computer technology.

      "CSIS says there is a growing threat of hostile forces using inexpensive techniques - including viruses, worms and denial-of-service attacks - to disrupt or seriously damage water supplies, financial services or communication networks.

      "Although only a small number of system intrusions are reported, indications are that the level of reported incidents and vulnerabilities is doubling roughly every six months. The report, citing U.S. military and congressional sources, notes Russia, China, India and Cuba have acknowledged preparations for cyber war and are actively advancing their capabilities. North Korea, Libya, Iran, Iraq and Syria, meanwhile, have some info-war knowledge." SUICIDE

INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR MUSLIM SUICIDE HIJACKERS

    A rental car was left by one of the September 11, suicide hijackers at the airport, before boarding the airplane. A book of the Koran (Quran) and a religious instruction manual was left on the car seat. Here is what the training manual contained, as reported by CNN on Sept. 28, 2001.

·          Know that you are doing Mohammed's will and obeying the Quran.

·          Know that all who do not follow Mohammed are children of Satan and   worthy of death.

·          Know that what you are doing is an act of faith.

·          Today will be the last day of your life on earth. On rising this morning, you will pray.

·          When you get to the airport, you will pray and you will leave on the car seat this manual, so that the infidels will know that you act on the teachings of the Quran .

·          After you take control of the airplane, you will pray out loud, so the passengers will hear and know that you are an instrument of Allah.

·          As you near the objective, know that you have only a few minutes to live. Remember, you are a martyr to Allah's great cause and that heaven awaits you.

·          Your last words should be: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his Messenger".

TERRORIST GUIDEBOOK OF JIHAD

Roland Jacquard, who is the author of In the Name of bin Laden, and heads up the Paris-based International Observatory on Terrorism, contributed the article, 'The Guidebook of Jihad' for Time Magazine (Oct.29, 2001). Here are some excerpts:  

   "As the Sept. 11 catastrophe made tragically clear, the fanatic groups behind such terrorism will no longer content themselves with conventional lo-tech forms of attack. They aim to go further and hit harder by using biological and chemical weapons and no doubts bombs packed with radioactive materials, not to mention cyberterrorism.

    "To carry out their strikes, these groups have recruited and trained two types of terrorists. The first is psychologically and intellectually weak and is used to stage such "classic" attacks as car bombings, hijackings and kidnappings. Recruits who fit a second, stronger profile, are referred to as God's Brigade by those returning from Afghan training camps and are destined for suicide attacks or bioterrorism.

    Members of the brigade have a guidebook - the 11-volume, Arabic-language Encyclopedia of Jihad. Its 6,000 pages, prefaced by lavish praise of Osama bin Laden, detail the practices of terror and urban-guerrilla warfare.

    "There is even a CD-ROM version. The tome includes instruction in using various arms as well as Semtex - one of the most popular explosives among terrorists - and TNT. Graphics help explain how to rig an envelope with C4 explosive and how to turn an apartment-building door, a radio, a cigarette pack, a television set or a couch into a deadly booby-trapped device. One of the most secret volumes of the collection, published in extremely small numbers, deals with biological and chemical terrorism.
